Uncapped Simeon Nwankwo, Junior Lokosa on Super Eagles World Cup squad as Rohr shops for fire power

The list comprises of four goalkeepers, ten defenders and eight midfielders and strikers each.

Super Eagles' Head Coach Gernot Rohr has handed debut call-ups to the duo of Junior Lokosa and Simeon Nwankwo, as both were named in Nigeria's 30-man provisional world cup list released by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) on Monday, AOIFootball.com reports.

Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi and Ahmed Musa have all been included in Nigeria's provisional World Cup squad, as has Simeon Nwankwo, a 1.98-meter (6-foot-6) striker with Italian club Crotone who is uncapped at global level.

The 26-year-old is a surprise inclusion after a breakthrough season in Italy where he scored seven goals, including an overhead kick against Juventus.
