But despite all the media fanfare, most Brits don't actually care about the coming wedding of Prince Harry and American actor Meghan Markle at all, a new poll has found.

She told Good Morning Britain that he had health issues, and had been experiencing chest pains and suffered a heart attack.

Less than a week before Prince Harry ties the knot with Meghan Markle, his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II gave her official consent to the couple.

The widely circulated photographs showed him being measured for a wedding suit and looking at newspaper stories about his daughter.

Have you seen any of the photos of Thomas getting his tuxedo fitted?

"This is not what she wants. So I suggested the photographers show him as he is, doing positive things". He feels that anyone who gets associated with his life - this is the price they have to pay.

Thomas Markle has reportedly decided he is not going to his daughter's wedding.

Kensington Palace has confirmed Doria will be escorting Meghan on her journey from Clivedon Hotel to Windsor Castle for the wedding.

She added that Mr Markle had been pressurised into a "dangerous situation" because of media intrusion.

He won the tournament by four shots and was greeted on the green by a hug from his wife Dowd, the mother of their four children. The only way anyone other than Simpson could win, was if Simpson started making bogeys and doubles, which he refused to do.

While the soon-to-be royal bride is certainly entitled to her opinion, one hopes her comments will be left behind when she becomes actual royalty.

Responding to the report, Kensington Palace said: "This is a deeply personal moment for Ms Markle in the days before her wedding".

He had also been expected to meet the queen, her husband and the other senior members of the Windsor family this week.

A lot of the wedding details have been announced in advance - Harry and Meghan's festival food trucks, Prince George and Princess Charlotte being part of the ceremony and their millennial wedding photography choices.

Thomas Markle, who lives in a retirement community just south of the US border in Mexico, told TMZ he's been ambushed by paparazzi who have photographed him in the most unflattering circumstances, including buying beer and looking disheveled.

The rabid British tabloid media could not resist targeting the father for the photographic scam.

The website wrote: "He says since his daughter started dating Prince Harry he's been offered anywhere between $50,000 and $100,000 for interviews and he's turned all of them down". Samantha took the fall and said it was her idea, "I have to say, I am entirely the culprit".

She is not on the wedding guest list.

TMZ reports that after undergoing a wide range of tests at the hospital earlier this week, Thomas was told he needed surgery because the heart attack did significant damage. While her family have seemingly done their best to drag her reputation through the mud over the past few months, the Palace has been vocal in its support of her and has, in Meghan's own words, been welcoming and understanding.
