"I bet it's Deadpool 2", said Reynolds as he entered from offstage, in costume. You know, the wisecracking X-Men-adjacent antihero with the mutant ability to jump around really fast, heal from any wound and break the fourth wall?

Ryan Reynolds (as Deadpool): "Yeah".

While thinking about who they could sign on for the soundtrack, the 41-year-old said he thought about who had the last great ballad for a movie. Along with the addition of Cable, there are several members of the X-Men who join the battle. "My family is everything to me, and that's what brought about Deadpool 2 ," he told Vanity Fair .

Deadpool 2 is being projected to earn more money in its opening weekend than the record-breaking first film. The answer was tested when Ryan Reynolds made a surprise appearance during the May 15 episode of "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert". Deadpool looks into the camera and says, "You're welcome, Canada".

And while he hasn't committed to a third movie, this is a cash cow, so you know it's probably gonna happen.

While Hugh Jackman might not be up for a Deadpool/Wolverine film, let's hope Disney or Fox finds an excellent replacement for Hugh Jackman so we can all erase the X-Men Origins: Wolverine version from our minds. All of the characters are great, the standout being Zazie Beetz's Domino. "So we'll just have to see".

There are also quite a few unexpected moments in the movie, namely Brad Pitt and Bill Skarsgard's cameo.

Sure, he may be sharing screen time with more mutant cohorts, but Ryan is still their leader, and the laugh-out-loud one-liners come fast and furious.
