Motorola has launched a new phone in China, called the Moto 1S, which is essentially a rebranded Moto G6. It also has a glass back, fingerprint sensor, and a 3000mAh battery.

The Moto 1s features a 5.7-inch full HD+ (1080 x 2160) IPS display, with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The Moto 1S is very similar to the Moto G6 which was launched in Brazil's Sao Paolo in April this year. It is priced at 1499 Yuan and is already available from Lenovo online Shop in China.

The Moto 1s has a dual camera setup with a 12 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture with a secondary 5 MP depth sensor to capture bokeh shots.

The Moto 1S is pretty much identical to the Moto G6 in terms of design and hardware. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, paired with Adreno 506 GPU.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Moto 1s runs Android 8.0 Oreo with the company's ZUI 3.5 skin on top. Moreover, the G6 Play comes with a single 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Connectivity options on the handset include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. Sensors on board the smartphone are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.

The 168 gram phone is 8.3 mm thin and comes with splash-proof coating for water resistance.
