Mooncrash doesn't have a release window yet, but it will be a roguelike take on the main game that will feature new enemies, hazards, and loot in each run.
Mooncrash and the free update aren't the only new things coming for Prey: a new multiplayer mode, called Typhon Hunter, will be available later this summer. At Bethesda's E3 2018 press conference, a trailer for Prey DLC Mooncrash came along with the surprise announcement that this big update for Prey is available right now.
Survive How You Want with Who You Want - Unlock multiple characters as you play, each with their own set of specialized, upgradable skills.
Both pieces of Prey DLC are available right now.
In Prey: Mooncrash, TranStar's secret moon base stopped transmitting shortly after the events of Prey.

It will eventually be released on PC and consoles as well, with cloud sync so you can pick up and play across all your devices. You'll be able to explore open outdoor worlds as well as a mix of hand-crafted and procedurally generated dungeons.
This marks the first DLC that Bethesda's space game has received, but even though Prey officially launched just over a year ago in May 2017, there's still without a doubt a dedicated fanbase that's ready to return to Talos 1 and beyond.
Additionally, a new update for Prey that is also out now includes three new modes: Story, Survival, and New Game+. In Mooncrash, players will experience an all-new, infinitely replayable, "rogue-lite" campaign with ever-changing enemies, weapons and objectives against a constantly increasing alien threat. Arkane also teased a new Typhon Hunter mode too, in which you can hide as a Mimic and ambush your friends.
Announced alongside the Prey: Typhon Hunter VR multiplayer mode will be an escape room VR mode, called TranStar VR.
Prey is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
