E3 2018: VR Title Transference Gets New Trailer and Release Window

Transference was announced today at Ubisoft's E3 conference as a VR game that is a collaboration between Ubisoft and Spectrevision.

Players will experience the limits of techno-psychology and escape a maze-like puzzle concealing a corrupted truth. Get projected into the digital consciousness of troubled case subjects and maybe you will influence their fate.

Britain's Dixons Carphone discovers unauthorized data access
The group is contacting all those affected, but sought to assure it had no evidence that this had resulted in fraud at this stage. Others compared the Dixons Carphone breach to the compromise of U.S. retailer Target in arguing lessons have not been learned.

Elijah Wood took to the stage during Ubisoft's E32018 presentation to speak to the audience about upcoming virtual reality (VR) title, the mind-bending, psychological story of Transference. For those without VR, the game will be fully playable on PS4, Xbox One, and PC when it launches this fall. In VR and traditional platforms, players will shift perspectives across family members solving mysteries. With Transference, we are bringing a first-person exploration game into a chilling new dimension. Unfortunately, this gathered data has congealed into a dark and twisted consciousness of its own, forming its own digital world which starts to alter the perceptions of Raymond, his wife Katherine and their son Benjamin. Those that want a more immersive experience will be happy to know that the game will also be available to play in virtual reality on PSVR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive.
