Trump slams 'low IQ' and 'punch-drunk' De Niro after star's F-bomb attack

"Robert De Niro, a very Low IQ individual, has received to [sic] many shots to the head by real boxers in movies", Trump tweeted on Tuesday.

President Donald Trump slammed actor Robert De Niro in a series of tweets aboard Air Force One as he returned to the United States from Singapore.

"He repeated 'F*** Trump" a second time and received a standing ovation from the crowd at the awards show for excellence in Broadway theater, held in NY. Earlier this year, the "Godfather Part II" star called Trump a "jerkoff in chief" and "a f-king idiot". The expletives sparked a roaring reaction from the audience, with numerous celebrities standing up.

Granted, we don't want that remark to sound too disparaging towards De Niro because we all know that he's an acting icon. "I watched him last night and truly believe me may be 'punch-drunk'".

At Sunday night's Tony Awards, De Niro launched an expletive at Trump.

Hawaii volcano unleashes more blasts, snaking lava after M5.4 temblor
Scientists said a new lava delta has grown to 200 acres, while lava from Fissure 8 bursts 130 to 180 feet up in the air. The eruption has also had a toll on the area's tourism industry, with many afraid to travel to the island.

De Niro was introducing Bruce Springsteen, who is starring in a Broadway production of his own, which has sold out tickets for months.

"F-k Trump!" As the audience erupted in cheers, De Niro quickly added, "It's no longer 'Down with Trump.' It's 'F-k Trump!"

"It's a disgrace", the actor said.

This was not the first time the Oscar-winning actor attacked Trump so publicly - and so colorfully.

De Niro's denouncement of POTUS, of course, drew polarizing reactions, one of which came from Trump himself. "And I apologize to Justin Trudeau and the other people at the G7".
