Florida man with no arms charged with stabbing man with scissors

Jonathan Crenshaw, 46, is accused of holding a pair of scissors with his feet and stabbing 22-year-old Cesar Coronado just after midnight on Tuesday morning, according to Miami Beach police.

Crenshaw has been charged with aggravated battery.

In a freaky incident, a 46-year-old homeless was arrested for stabbing a tourist with a pair of scissors using his feet.

According to the arrest report, Crenshaw says he was lying down when Coronado, a Chicago tourist, approached him and punched him in the head.

Crenshaw, who told police he acted in self-defense, was being held at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami. He then tucked the scissors in his waistband and walked away.

He and a female friend who was present said Coronado asked Crenshaw for directions and was attacked, police said.

He's a fixture on the Lincoln Road Mall in Miami's South Beach area.

Crenshaw has remained tight-lipped on why he has no arms, but claimed to one reporter that his mother had fed him rat poison as a child.

According to an arrest report, officers arrived at the scene to find a man lying on the ground and bleeding from his left arm.

Crenshaw has a court date on July 18; his bond has been set at $7,500.
