It is said they feel Sarri will be a refreshing change for players used to Conte's brutal training demands.

Chelsea's Italian head coach Antonio Conte looks on during the English Premier League football match between Watford and Chelsea at Vicarage Road Stadium in Watford, north of London on February 5, 2018.

Conte led Chelsea to the Premier League title in his first season in England in 2016-17 and followed up that achievement with the FA Cup triumph this year, but his relationship with the board became damaged beyond fix, highlighted by his repeated public and private complaints about transfer policy.

But Chelsea finished 30 points behind Premier League champions Manchester City last season and exited the Champions League at the last-16 stage after a 4-1 aggregate defeat to Barcelona.

Conte's three-year deal was cut short at Stamford Bridge on Thursday with former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri set to succeed him. They defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the FA Cup Final in May, winning the competition for the eighth time.

Khan approved a request for a giant blimp depicting Trump as an orange baby to fly over London during protests on Friday. Despite the protests, Trump insisted ahead of his trip to the United Kingdom that he was well-liked in the country.

Sarri's arrival will mark an end to Antonio Conte's tumultuous two-year spell at the club.

He still had a year to run on a £9m-a-season deal, renegotiated last summer in the wake of the league championship triumph, and will be due a hefty payoff.

Despite Napoli acquiring Carlo Ancelotti, Sarri's contract hasn't been terminated by the club and this has what delayed Chelsea's move.

Napoli's style won the hearts of many neutrals for their quick, one-touch possession-based style that dazzled many fans. With just 12 days before Chelsea's first pre-season game and less than a month before the transfer window closes - Sarri will need to get to work quickly and efficiently.

Jorginho was a crucial part of that system in the heart of the midfield.
