Fallout 76 for PC Will Not Be on Steam: Bethesda

Additionally, the digital pre-orders for the PC version of Fallout 76 are exclusively open for Bethesda.net only and a Steam page is practically non-existent.

For one, it means you won't have easy access to your friends list when it comes to invite people to your Fallout 76 squad.

Bethesda is yet to confirm exact dates for the Beta, but has confirmed it will make its way to Xbox One first, sometime in October.

A motorway bridge has also partially collapsed in a huge explosion which shook Bologna Airport in Italy. At least two people have died and more than 50 others are injured, Italian news outlet ANSA reports.

A bunch of Fallout 76 beta information has been released as we presumably get closer to it taking place. There's no listing for the game on Steam either. Still, it's a noteworthy move to skip Steam in part because the previous Fallout games were released on Valve's store.

Rumours have been kicking around for a while, and now it's pretty much locked in: if you're looking forward to playing Fallout 76, you won't be using Steam. That's not to say it won't happen eventually, but it may be quite a wait if it happens at all-Fallout Shelter was released on Bethesda.net in July 2016, but didn't make it to Steam until March 2017. As Bethesda has just revealed, the Fallout 76 beta will feature the full game rather than just a slice of a larger pie.

Our current plan for the B.E.T.A.is it will be the full game and all your progress is saved for launch.
