Several images of a Pixel 3 XL production unit have just emerged and they offer us the closest look at Google's upcoming flagship. And it has a single camera on the back. They kind of look like cheap Pixel Buds. On the front we can see information pertaining to the device, which is running Android 9 Pie.

In addition, we can now see that the power button is a different color from the rest of the phone after all, only it's a light shade of green/blue rather than orange like we'd previously seen on prototype models. The channel posted images and video of a pre-release Pixel 3 XL unboxing, including information about specs, how the notch works, and in-box accessories. They dont show anything unexpected – the Pixel 3 XL has a 1440p+ display (with a notch), is powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset with 4GB of RAM and runs Android 9 Pie.

New images of Google's Pixel 3 XL white variant have surfaced, and it looks a lot like the recent trend of notched Android smartphones, albeit with a very controversial design.

We also get a peek at what appear to be Google's new Pixel Buds. I certainly wouldn't choose the Pixel 3 XL over the iPhone X or the many Android handsets that are far more attractive. We can also see a USB-C to 3.5mm dongle (there's no built-in headphone jack), a USB-C to USB-A adapter for transferring information from another device, and the usual USB-C charging cable. It's so large that it stretches out the status bar, making it thicker than normal, just like the Essential phone. But it's not as if Google has much reason to change what the device comes with.

Oscars: Academy to add achievement in popular film category
The Oscars are adding a new category for popular films and shortening the award ceremony to three hours. The Academy also mentioned that the 2020 Oscars will be airing weeks earlier than usual on February 8.
