Manchester City are considering naming one of their training pitches after Joe Hart in recognition of the goalkeeper's 12-year service to the club, which came to an end yesterday when he joined Burnley.
He admits the move wasn't an option until Pope's injury, but he now swells the goalkeeping ranks under coach Billy Mercer and has been impressed with the atmosphere at the club.
He's now departed on a permanent basis as he looks to fight his way back into England contention, having missed out on the World Cup squad this summer.
"It's definitely the right time for me to move on", Hart told Clarets Player.
The England global, who missed out on the 2018 World Cup, has spent the last two seasons on loan at Torino and West Ham United respectively after being deemed surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium. "They (Manchester City) are doing fantastic and I'm very happy for them".
Hart faces a fight to become No. 1 at Turf Moor with fellow England internationals Nick Pope and Tom Heaton as well as former Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard.
Angelina Jolie Pitt wants divorce finalized by year's end
It is unknown at this time what - if any - informal agreement Jolie and Pitt had arrived at prior to this filing. Per the filing, Jolie intends to file for retroactive child support.
"I feel good. I feel like I'm in the right place and I feel like this is my time to kick on now".
Hart has signed a two-year contract with the option of a third.
Premier League champions Manchester City, who have had a relatively quiet transfer window so far, have now announced their first departure.
City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak said: "Joe Hart's contribution to Manchester City can not be overstated".
Hart has known he had no future at the Etihad Stadium, where he played a key role in two Premier League title wins and three cup successes over the course of 348 appearances, ever since Pep Guardiola's arrival as manager.
"His 12 years at the club has seen him produce some remarkable performances and heart-stopping saves that will live in the memory for a long time to come".
