James Corden is opening up about a time Kanye West canceled on him so last-minute, it cost his show a pretty penny. Justin Bieber, Adele, Britney Spears, Harry Styles, and even Red Hot Chili Peppers have done it; but staring at the list of guests long enough leads to one important question - when's Kanye West's time? Tuesday night (August 7) on his show, Corden revealed - appropriately enough to Kanye's mother-in-law, Kris Jenner - that he's tried to get Kanye on "Carpool Karaoke" two or three times. Corden responded without hesitation, "Oh, I can answer this easily". "He cancelled once as I was turning the corner to his house", Corden admitted. "I was in a auto and by the time the call finished I was sat outside his house and they were like, 'He's not in the zone for it right now, we'll do it another time'".
"He did send me a lovely gift", the host said. "He sent me these incredible flowers in a cube... and he sent me a pair of Yeezys", Corden said.
"I think it resonated with people as Paul's music speaks to every generation, young and old, especially today", Winston added.
Steven Seagal made Russia-US envoy
Cultural ties between Russian Federation and the USA have been hampered by the current diplomatic impasse. However, the Michigan-born actor also had to pay a price for his allegiances.
"Carpool Karaoke: When Corden Met McCartney Live From Liverpool" will air at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20. "We loved making it and knew we had something special, but it was so wonderful for us to see how many people watched and enjoyed it". "He's my dream and he knows that".
