Last week, Bills wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin blamed his struggles with the Carolina Panthers on not being able to play with an "accurate" quarterback "with knowledge."

Now, it was time to face said quarterback and this is how it went down.

"If you would've put me with any other QB, let's be real, you know what I'm saying?"

For those who haven't heard, Benjamin didn't hold back in his public criticism of his former teammate. Newton apparently wanted to discuss. Benjamin didn't appear to want to have much of a conversation. It's not clear what they said to each other, but the interaction did not end in the friendliest of ways.

"I've spoken with Kelvin, and that's not how I want us to handle things like that".

Former Carolina Panther DT Star Lotulelei was welcomed with open arms by Luke Kuechly.

"I just think Carolina was bad for me", Benjamin told The Athletic.

The two met face-to-face for the first time before the two teams faced off in their preseason game on Thursday night and according to Jourdan Rodrigue of the Charlotte Observer, the meeting didn't go so well.

Benjamin may have walked away from the tense exchange with Newton, but he was happy run into the end zone shortly thereafter.
