Dez Bryant says he’s coming to Cleveland to visit the Browns

Browns GM says that Dez Bryant won't return any of his phone calls

Dez Bryant fires back after Browns GM says Bryant ‘won’t return any phone calls’ | Fort Worth Star-Telegram

The back and forth between the Cleveland Browns and wide receiver Dez Bryant got a little weird on Thursday. Bryant, though, apparently won't return any of Browns general manager John Dorsey's calls.

"Maybe he's still thinking about other stuff", Dorsey said to Cleveland.com.

However, Bryant claimed less than two hours later that he already had spoken to the Browns GM.

Dorsey said he wants to bring in a group of receivers next week to help fortify a position where the Browns keep taking hits.

Bryant then playfully interacted with the fans on Twitter, including a response about his motivation to visit Cleveland first that indicated he was definitely paying attention to the Browns 20-10 win.

As reported by The New York Times , WhatsApp has admitted that the above scenarios are possible, but played down the issue. The more than 1.5 billion WhatsApp users reportedly send over 65 billion messages per day.

It seems like the final answer though is that there is interest on both sides and Bryant himself says he will be visiting the Land.

However, Bryant tweeted on Thursday that he is still planning to play for a team this season - just that he's going to do it on his schedule.

Clearly, the biggest free agent acquisition on the market is Dez Bryant who is yet to find a suitable team to his liking as teams get set to play for their first preseason game this week. "I'm still getting myself ready".

Bryant, who played his first seven seasons in the National Football League with the Cowboys, caught 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns last season in Dallas.
