Everton and Barcelona have reached an agreement over a transfer fee for Colombian defender Mina and Gomes is also being sent to Goodison Park, but on loan.

Mina, who was linked with a move to Manchester United for much of the window, arrives a the club in a £30 million deal, providing boss Silva with the defensive lynchpin he has been so desperately craving.

Everton have won the race for his signature with the attacking midfielder signing a four-year contract.
