England rugby global Danny Cipriani has been fined £2,000 after an assault in a Jersey nightclub.

England rugby player Danny Cipriani has been charged with assaulting police during an incident at a nightclub on the island of Jersey early Wednesday, police and Gloucester Rugby Club said.

"He was arrested at the early hours of this morning following an incident in Mulcaster Street in St Helier".
