Apple accidentally reveals iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max names

Apple will livestream its iPhone event on Twitter for the first time

What’s on Your Apple Radar This Week?

The 5.8-inch iPhone X replacement has always been known as iPhone XS, but the largest of the threesome has been called either iPhone XS Plus or iPhone XS Max. This year, the new models will likely be available for purchase much closer to their announcement date.

A year later, Apple is preparing to unveil another slate of phones, but the design isn't expected to change significantly.

Apple opened its event by saying its new Apple Watch Series 4 range will have edge-to-edge displays, like its latest phones, which are more than 30 percent bigger than displays on current models.

After months of rumours, leaks and plenty of speculation it's finally the day we will find out what Apple really has in store for its next generation of devices.

The pictures obtained by the site also note there is a new hole between the side button and Digital Crown (which the site suggests could be a microphone), and notes that the Digital Crown and side button have been modified since the previous model, too.

We'll find out more from 6pm but this event is unlikely to be just about the iPhone. SlashGear will be on hand for the Apple event and covering it in detail.

Meghan Markle has developed a strained relationship with the paternal side of her family after she married Prince Harry (pictured) in May.

Apple's "Gather Round" media event will be streamed live on Twitter tomorrow, marking the first time an Apple press event has graced the social network.

One final device we could see unveiled today is a new iPad Pro which could get one of its most radical updates in years.

Including Star Tech's very own David Snelling who is reporting on the ground.

Why anybody would want to watch a 2 hour presentation on Twitter is beyond us, but you can do it this year.

If you're looking to stream the event live online, it will begin today (Wednesday, September 12) at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT).

All three are expected to borrow the swanky all-screen design introduced with the iPhone X previous year. However, the product has buoyed revenue from Apple's "Other Products" segment, which also includes the Apple TV, HomePod, and AirPods.
