New iPhone could make history

Apple could release three new iPhones at Twitter-streamed live event

Apple unveils new iPhones today

We already saw leaks of a dual SIM card tray in a new Apple device, but the post from a company's social media account feels like more legitimate confirmation, as spotted byGSMArena. About 17 percent will trade in their current model for last year's iPhone X, and just about 16 percent will opt for the iPhone 8.

Speculation includes talk that Apple will introduce three new iPhone models infused with features from a premium iPhone X that debuted previous year with a $1,000 price tag. Both the bold new color options and the potential "Xc" moniker echo Apple's lower-cost iPhone 5c handset from 2013.

Apple has been hit with a series of leaks in recent weeks, detailing all the new products it plans to unleash on the world.

Remember when Apple previous year announced a wireless charging pad that could simultaneously power an iPhone, smartwatch and AirPods?

The easiest way to watch an Apple live event is to stream it on an Apple TV-if you have one handy.

Congress is also considering several pieces of legislation that would punish foreign countries for interfering in USA elections. The executive order addresses not only interference with campaign and election infrastructure, but also propaganda efforts.

Of the other devices, the Apple Watch 4 is also expected to come with a lot of improvements over the predecessors including the display size, more real estate, click-free buttons and more.

Three new iPhone models are reportedly set to be announced, all of which based on the design of the iPhone X. In addition to 64GB and 256GB models, Apple will also offer a 512GB model.

It also is expected to release a wireless charging mat that will be able to charge several devices at once.

"Apple has never competed on price", said Josh Blechman, director of capital markets at Exponential ETFs, which holds Apple shares in its exchange traded fund. Simply opening the app will start the live stream, giving viewers a much better experience than watching it on their iPhone, or on a small window on a computer.
