Megaleak unveils the rumoured specs of the OnePlus 6T ahead of October launch

The coolest feature about that screen, though, is that it contains a "light-sensitive fingerprint sensor under the display", which Samsung and Apple have both failed to deliver (while OnePlus affiliate Vivo has). Now full specs of OnePlus 6T have surfaced online as the smartphone has been listed online on a shopping website, Giztop.

OnePlus is working on its upcoming OnePlus 6T smartphone which is expected to launch next month on October 17.

Moving on to performance, the listing confirms the OnePlus 6T will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor as the OnePlus 6. There will reportedly be different models, including 6GB and 8GB of RAM split between 64GB, 128GB and 256GB of storage.

OnePlus 6T has been leaked online, along with all of its specifications.

The 6T packs a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that measures 2340 x 1080-pixel, and the shop post notes a "91.5 [percent] screen ratio", owning the fact that it's not exactly bezel-free (though it's pretty close).

Interestingly, the OnePlus 6T is listed with a triple-camera setup at the rear. Like all previous OnePlus smartphones, the 6T will not include a microSD card slot for further expansion. As usual, leakers are determined to make sure there are no surprises in store for the unveiling, revealing much of what to expect from the OnePlus 6T. For the front, it will have a 25-megapixel camera.

Google's latest Android 9.0 Pie has a mention, prompting thoughts that the OnePlus 6T might ship with the update pre-installed rather than the user having to manually download it. In the battery life department, the OnePlus 6T listing on Giztop suggests that it could be slightly better than its predecessor. It shared a screenshot of the lockscreen showcasing in-display fingerprint icon with date and time as 11:00 Wednesday October 17, which could also be the launch day for OnePlus 6T. The exact variant, however, has not been listed. As for launch date, the OnePlus 6T is now listed as being out of stock on Giztop. The product listing also ends with the statement "This is not available until October 16".
