Hurricane Florence Won’t Be The Last To Hit The US This Season As More Form In Its Wake

NOAA: Sub-Tropical Storm Joyce Projected Path, Spaghetti Models

Tropical storm force winds from Isaac expected soon at Leeward Islands.

"At this time, Tropical Storm Isaac is not considered an imminent threat to the Cayman Islands but that could change", said Tara Rivers, Minister responsible for HMCI. A fifth would add to an already crowded map that includes Hurricane Florence, which is expected to make landfall in the Carolinas Friday, and tropical storms Helene, Issac and Joyce. Isaac has maximum sustained winds of 45mph with higher gusts, and officials at Hazard Management Cayman Islands are urging people to keep an eye on the storm's path because it could be heading our way. "Weakening is forecast to begin by the middle of the week as Isaac approaches the Lesser Antilles".

Olivia's maximum sustained winds are about 65 miles per hour, after the storm weakened from Category 1 strength, forecasters said. A watch is typically issued 48 hours before tropical-storm-force winds are expected to arrive, which makes outside preparations hard or risky - and Tropical-storm-force winds are possible within the tropical storm watch area today.

The tropical storm is battling strong winds in the upper atmosphere and it is possible Isaac could degenerate into a tropical wave as it moves through the Lesser Antilles.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores to reach 500 goals for club and country
However, it wasn't to be for the Californian side, who shipped two more goals in the final 15 minutes to lose the game 5-3. Ibrahimovic was PSG's top goalscorer with 156 goals before Edinson Cavani broke his record in January.

Residents especially those in flood and landslide prone areas are to be vigilant; and small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution due to locally rough seas.

Now, while the US East Coast gets prepared for the Category 3 storm (earlier downgraded from four), Hurricane Florence satellite images revealed that two more storms are swirling above the Atlantic Ocean, forming a rare phenomenon. Near the coast, the surge will be accompanied by large and destructive waves.

The National Hurricane Center (N.H.C.) in its 5:00 p.m. advisory said all tropical storm watches and warnings for Isaac have been discontinued, news that will be welcomed by interests in the Caribbean.

A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for Montserrat, St Kitts, Nevis, Saba and St Eustatius. Rip Currents: High risk for rip currents at all beaches today and likely into this weekend.
