With the updated search Spotify will start showing you Top Genres in an ever-changing page that is probably more about discovery than anything.
Once you click into the search field, you'll get the familiar list of "recent searches", so you can quickly find that artist or track you previously looked up. At the top of the screen, listeners can find their Top Genres - from indie to country to reggae- and easily discover the music that best reflects them and their mood.
Spotify Premium subscribers will see a few changes on Thursday.
The revamped Spotify app now comes with a streamlined navigation, giving you quick access to Home, Search, and your personal library. The five tabs at the bottom have been condensed into three main categories - Home, Search, and Your Library.
