The 76ers Trade for Jimmy Butler; Now Serious Threats to Win the East

BREAKING: Minnesota Timberwolves Trade Jimmy Butler to 76ers

While Wolves fans are surely sad to see Jimmy Butler leave, it's a new beginning in Minnesota and it's probably for the best now that Towns has signed his rookie extension and the drama in the locker room can be put to rest.

Despite all this, Butler has shared a mutual admiration with Wolves president/coach Tom Thibodeau, who attempted on repeated occasions to keep Butler to have a change of heart and remain in Minnesota.
