The victor of the $1.5 billion Mega Millions jackpot has still not come forward to claim the prize.
Once the prize is claimed, the retailer where the ticket was bought will receive $50,000. Their time doesn't run out until April 21. Officials say the winning ticket was sold in SC.

SC lets lottery winners remain anonymous in order to preserve their privacy, but authorities still need to be able to confirm the winner's identity, lottery Chief Operating Officer Tony Cooper, told Fox News.

If the victor doesn't claim the money, it could go back into the game's prize pool or be given to South Carolina's development programs and plans funded by Mega Millions' profits.
The victor does still have plenty of time to come forward.
Tony Cooper, the chief operating officer with the South Carolina Education Lottery, suggested that the victor sign the back of the lottery ticket, keep it in a safe location and reach out to a reliable financial advisor, according to ABC News.
Along with Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, North Dakota, Ohio and Texas, South Carolina law allows a victor to stay anonymous if he or she wishes, according to Maryland Lottery and Gaming.
