Toyota Motor has released a teaser of the 2020 Toyota Corolla Altis ahead of its world debut this week, and our rendering artist SRK has constructed the front-end providing the first look at the next generation of the world's best selling sedan.
The front-end design is expected to be identical to the hatchback, which bodes well for the rest of the body being a far more exciting proposition than the current version.
On the next teaser, you may notice a new grille model, modified head optics with daytime running lights that are used on the hatchback and wagon. Perhaps this is Toyota's way of making the four-door stand out from the five-doors. The next generation Toyota Corolla will most likely make it to India sometime next year or in early 2020. The Corolla has been long overdue for a major redesign, so fans will probably be excited to see what Toyota has in store for them. The only mystery with the sedan's design will be the rear, which sadly has not been teased.
Rajinikanth's 'Petta': Surprise release announcement
However, the major highlight of the poster is that it has put an end to the rumours surrounding the release date of the flick. Actress Megha Akash, of Dhanush-Gautham Menon's Enai Nokki Paayum Thota fame, also plays a vital role in the movie.
The saloon version of the auto all is making its debut in China on 16th November. It could also get a CVT automatic and manual transmission for the petrol variant and only a manual transmission for the diesel version.
The new Corolla's cabin resembles that of the CH-R crossover, and US-spec models come standard with an Entune 20cm touchscreen infotainment system with Wi-Fi, Amazon Alexa integration and App Suite Connect.
The presence of global TNGA platform meant the new Corolla has increased dimensions and the interior will be more spacious in comparison to the outgoing model.
