Christian Pulisic open to Premier League move

The 20-year-old - who spent a year in Oxfordshire as a child before moving back to the United States with his family - has so far refused to discuss a contract extension at Dortmund and with his deal set to expire in 2020, there is a growing possibility Pulisic could be allowed to leave.

"We have a lot of fearless young players and guys who aren't afraid to come in and show us what they know about the game", Pulisic said.

FC Bayern wanted to commit to 2017, the English young footballer Jadon Sancho, could not prevail with its offer, but against Borussia Dortmund.

Numerous other Premier League clubs have been linked with launching bids to try and land the Pennsylvania-born Pulisic, such as Spurs.

While Sancho has contributed four goals in six assists in 11 Bundesliga appearances to Dortmund's league-leading cause this season, Nelson is already Hoffenheim's leading scorer with six goals in just seven appearances, only four of which were starts, and was recently named TAG Heuer Rookie of the Month for October.

As you can see, we are having a great year at Dortmund and I am enjoying every moment of that.

But with a group of talented youngster coming through, being led by the Borussia Dortmund attacker, the 20-year-old is confident that his side can claim a few scalps.

"I mean you know I've been a part of this team for the whole qualifying process and now moving forward, some of these guys who weren't there during that time", Pulisic said. "Guys can't come in to be shy and expect us to kind of show them the ropes".

The average age of their 28-man squad for the England game is under 24, with 17 of the players aged 23 or younger.

"I really don't put that pressure on myself".
