Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will need approximately two weeks to recover from a procedure to help fix a high ankle sprain he suffered during the SEC Championship Game on Saturday night.

Hurts could have transferred to a school of his choosing this offseason but he stuck with Alabama despite knowing he'd be the backup quarterback.

Saban said Tagovailoa will have his ankle scoped and that it's a two-week process.

People were offering their condolences, questioning play calls, and lamenting another Alabama conference title.

This was another galling loss for Saban's former assistant, Kirby Smart. There's no chance Alabama wins the SEC Championship Game if he does.

The final Coaches' Poll of college football's regular season came out today and, like every other week of the season, Alabama is at No. 1.
