Generation 4 was recently added into Pokemon Go along with a new Sinnoh stone allowing for new evolutions for previously released generations. Now, Niantic is starting to tease Pokemon Go PVP fights, allowing actual trainer battles to take place between Pokemon trainers.
The announcement came alongside a screenshot of how battles will look in game. It was a little bewildering that Pokemon GO launched without them back in 2016, but now, more than two years later, that's finally about to change.
Sheryl Sandberg reportedly asked Facebook employees to research George Soros
She asked Definers Public Affairs to look into Soros after he said the social media platform was a " menace " to society. But the revelations are likely to escalate pressure on Sandberg, an embattled Silicon Valley star and feminist author.
One detail that has been made apparent though is that "Battle Leagues" will be available for players to participate in with ranks including Great, Ultra, and Master. The Ultra League will have a limit that's a thousand points higher. While the company promised the feature, it never seemed to make any progress towards an actual PvP mode. Currently, the only battle system Trainers can engage in is gym battles and raids which feature gameplay mechanics like tapping the screen and long pressing to perform a charge move.
No official release date has been posted as of now, but Niantic says the feature will be coming "soon" and encourages players to look through their Pokedexes and start building teams for when the feature drops. We're also interested in hearing about how trainer battles will be carried out within Pokemon GO, so there's plenty left to learn.
