Meghan visited King's College London on Wednesday to address important issues including human trafficking and modern slavery, gender equality and inclusion, peace and reconciliation, and climate change and resilience.

After the talk, Meghan was taken backstage to meet privately with Michelle where the pair had a private chat together for fifteen minutes.

Her getup was something that wouldn't look out of place on pregnant Meghan Markle, 37, who is a fan of the trouser and blazer combo.

Kate was joined by Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla at the glamorous event. During her royal tour of Fiji with husband Prince Harry in October, the Suits alum delivered a speech about women's education.

Meghan spoke at the time of her struggle to finance her higher education and her "personal feeling of pride and excitement" when she studied for her degree.

The duchess chose the Lover's Knot, a diamond and pearl encrusted piece that dates back to 1914, previously preferred by her late mother-in-law Princess Diana.

Meghan noted, "Everyone should be afforded the opportunity to receive the education they want, but more importantly the education they have the right to receive. Because when girls are given the right tools to succeed, they can create incredible futures, not only for themselves but also for those around them". The service was held in Chelsea in support of the Henry Van Straubenzee Memorial Fund, which was set up in memory of a school friend of both Princes William and Harry, who died in a tragic vehicle crash in 2002 aged just 18.

The unexpected appearance comes a day after the former Suits actress and Prince Harry attended the Christmas Carol Service in honor of her husband's late friend, Henry van Straubenzee, who died in a vehicle accident in 2002 at the age of 18.

Meghan showed off her baby bump in a navy blue dress, while the Duke of Sussex wore the same color coat and trousers.
