Real Madrid have agreed personal terms with Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard over a move to the Bernabeu.

Reports emerged in Spain on Wednesday claiming Real Madrid have ramped up their efforts to tempt Hazard away from Stamford Bridge, with his contract moving into its final 18 months in the New Year. But Chelsea dug in their heels and insisted he was going nowhere.

Yet, despite his fantastic from when he has played this season, Loftus-Cheek is yet to start a game in the Premier League so far in 2018-19 due to the fierce competition in the Blues' midfield. But they found themselves in a similar situation last season with Hazard's Belgium worldwide team-mate Thibaut Courtois.

The Blues, however, will not let the former Lille winger leave easily, and are believed to be demanding a fee of €170 million (R2.6 billion) for the player.

Derek Fisher Hired as Sparks Coach
Fisher played 13 seasons as the Los Angeles Lakers point guard over two stints from 1996 to 2012. The team's previous coach, Brian Agler , resigned Friday after four seasons with Los Angeles.

Head coach Maurizio Sarri also reiterated his desire to keep the 27-year-old at west London and has revealed that the club is holding contract talks with Hazard every week.

"It's up to him".

"I want Eden here, but I want him here if he wants to stay here". The club is available to sign a new contract immediately, but it's up to him if he wants to renew or not. Now on loan in West London from Los Blancos, Kovacic doesn't want to return to the Bernabéu when his temporary Chelsea deal ends in the summer, and the six-time English champions would like the Croatian midfielder to stay on.

Their contracts are up at the end of the campaign and they are locked in a standoff over the length of the new deals being offered.
