Seven people were injured in a jet bridge collapse Saturday night at Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport, according to a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration.

The jet bridge failure at BWI Airport is "under investigation", according to another tweet from the airport. The six people suffered non-life-threatening injuries, BWI said. "Six individuals were injured in a fall".

The remaining passengers were able to get off the plane using airstairs. BWI Fire and Rescue crews responded along with mutual aid. The jet bridge, an extendable hallway stretching from the terminal to the plane, was at Gate E-10 of the airport.

Spam protection is going live in Messages for some
After half a year development, spam protection in Android messages finally started rolling out earlier this month to some users. However, those who do are getting a pop up at the bottom of the app offering the feature and allowing you to turn it off.

The jet bridge that serves the airline gate will be out of service until investigation is completed, the airport spokesman said. Paramedics met the flight to "assess an on board medical situation that occurred in-flight with one passenger", a Southwest spokesperson said.

The airport says the plane has been moved and there have been no further impacts to airport operations. This website is not intended for users located within the European Economic Area.
