Chelsea are prepared to file a complaint against Bayern Munich to Federation Internationale de Football Association if evidence is found of an illegal approach to Callum Hudson-Odoi or his representatives, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.
Maurizio Sarri has criticised Bayern Munich for publicly stating their wish to recruit Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea.
Chelsea and Sarri want the player, but Marina Granovskaia negotiated the deal and was unwilling to pay Higuain the same money he is receiving from Juventus, while the Argentine doesn't want his pay to decrease.
Chelsea, however, have not given up hope of changing Hudson-Odoi's mind, and Sarri - who picked the 18-year-old to start against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup semifinal first leg at Wembley on Tuesday - hit out at Bayern. 'I don't know why someone would go to Bayern Munich'.
"Then I don't know what to say, I don't know the situation". Now he needs to improve in some movements without the ball, but he is working very well at the moment. "He does not get the number that people expect but as a centre-forward, and as a team player, I have a lot of admiration for him".
West Ham tell Arnautovic to honour contract
Callum Wilson is believed to be their primary target, but it would likely take a huge offer to prise him away from Bournemouth. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will bring in any new players this months during the January transfer window.
"It's insane to have a market of 30 days in this moment of the season, because we play every three days, so we need rest", Sarri added. "They didn't respect our club".
Sarri said: "We need to solve this problem".
Maurizio Sarri has revealed his belief that Chelsea need to sign two players this January, but stopped short of confirming which positions he would be looking to strengthen. Lampard has admired Hudson-Odoi's performances from afar and hopes the England Under-19 global is still a Chelsea player when the January transfer window closes.
Willian was on Thursday linked with Barcelona, but Sarri ruled out the prospect of the Brazilian departing this month.
