Between 3 and 6 inches (7 and 15 centimeters) is expected in the Washington area, including parts of northern and central Maryland, by Sunday.
St. Louis recorded 10.4 inches of snow by 1:30 p.m. ET, with higher accumulations in other parts of Missouri.

A few major East Coast cities are likely to see some impact, including Washington, Baltimore and Philadelphia, and there is a possibility for light accumulation in NY along the northern edge of the storm.
The Appalachians will pick up ice and snow in the mountains of Virginia and North Carolina, forecasters said. Lower accumulations are expected in DE and Baltimore, as well as around Richmond, where precipitation Sunday should be freezing rain.
