Chinese companies are known for offering affordable tech products, but Xiaomi is now taking things to the next level. And while details about the phone are still been kept as a secret, some official teasers have however suggested the debut Redmi phone will come with a dual rear camera sensor featuring a 48MP min sensor. At the front, we have a 13-megapixel selfie shooter with AI face unlock, AI smart beauty, and other nifty AI features. On the rear, we can also spot the circular fingerprint sensor. The display of the Redmi Note 7 is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

"The Redmi Note 7 features a 6.3" 2340x1080 display, and is powered by a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, for $150. The phone also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 7 sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with a 4000 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 4. The listing suggests that there will be three different models of Redmi Note 7.

Two variants with model numbers M1901F7G and M1901F7H were certified by Bluetooth SIG, and in case you wonder, the phone with model number M1901F9 is the Redmi 7 (as per sources) that is the successor to the budget-centric Redmi 6 of previous year.

The base variant of Redmi Note 7 will cost Yuan 999, which is Rs 10,000.

Initially introduced in Blue, Twilight Gold and Black, the Redmi Note 7 start from CNY999, but this is for the 3/32 GB variant. Connectivity options include USBType-Cport, 3.5mm headphone jack, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Global Positioning System. The budget Redmi 6 series is also a popular lineup in India which was launched back in September 2018 and it comprises of Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Pro. Xiaomi at the event also officially announced that Redmi is now its sub-brand. Lastly, the Redmi Note 7 with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage has been priced at Yuan 1399 (around Rs 14,000).

It operates on Android 9 Pie with MIUI interface 10 and has a 4000mAh battery that supports fast 18 Watt charging.
