Game of Thrones releases new trailer, New Zealand launch date revealed

HBO's world famous and Emmy award-winning drama Game of Thrones's eighth and final season will premiere on April 14, 2019.

Season 8 is all set to premiere on April 14th.


The release of the teaser coincides with confirmation of April 14 as the date for the final season of the hugely popular show.

The Crypts of Winterfell is an ideal setting for a final season trailer, with the location being full of significance for the Starks. We see the three siblings walking into the crypts under Winterfell.

As the trio make their way through the dark cavern, they pass statues, voices can be heard and a feather drops on the floor, which fans think is a nod to a previous series.
