Samsung’s Galaxy S10 and Foldable Phone Could Launch Next Month

The phone will be released in late March in South Korea, following the early March launch of the other Galaxy S10 models.

Leave it to Samsung to build up the hype for its new phone especially when they will be introducing some breakthroughs in smartphone technology like a continuous screen from end to end called "Infinity-O display".

Pricing for the lowest S10 model will reportedly sit somewhere between 800,000 won (~$712) and 900,000 won (~$801), while the Galaxy S10 X could reach as high as 1.8 million won, which converts to around $1,603. Oof.

In a subsequent tweet, Weinbach reveals some new details about the preinstalled wallpaper that will ship with the Galaxy S10, which is set to be powered by Samsung's new One UI software. We're expecting Samsung to release the Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10 X in 2019.

The Twitter user recently posted an image of three cases that are presumed to be for the Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus respectively.

This will be paired with a 12MP standard lens with the same variable aperture mechanism that caused headlines for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus previous year. Will Samsung announce the availability of the Galaxy Home smart speaker? The larger Galaxy S10+ will come in multiple variants that will pack 6GB or 8GB of RAM ticking alongside 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of storage. Rumors around the Galaxy S10 E hint at dual cameras at the back, whereas the Galaxy S10 will come with triple rear cameras, with one being a telephoto lens and other an ultra-wide angle lens.

We've been hearing that Samsung is hard at work on a 5G-capable version of the Galaxy S10 for a while now. Based on their names, we can assume the Galaxy A90 will be the most powerful of the three.

According to Weinbach, all Galaxy S10 models will have both "Bright Night" and portrait lighting features included with the camera.

Samsung has usually unveiled its flagship Galaxy S handset at MWC.

As always, it's worth digesting these rumours with the recommended amount of skepticism.

Samsung Electronics plans to launch its 10th-anniversary flagship phone lineup in San Francisco and London on the 20th of February.
