The more powerful of Audi's two V10 variants lives under the engine cover. Three years later, Audi plucked the 5.2-liter V-10 from the Lamborghini Gallardo and stuffed it in the middle of the R8.
Audi has revealed its 10th anniversary present to the R8 V10, in the form of the limited-run Decennium coupe.
"Decennium" means decade in Latin.
Nancy Pelosi bluntly criticizes overreach of AOC's Green New Deal
They challenge Feinstein, stating: "We have 12 years to turn this around". He's the one who brought it up", Durbin said.
The special edition is limited to 222 cars, with ten (appropriately) coming to the United Kingdom - all Coupes.
The Audi R8 V10 Decennium will be available in an exclusive matte-effect Daytona Grey colour, although the German firm says a pearl effect version of the same hue, plus Suzuka Grey, Floret Silver, Mythos Black, Ascari Blue and Kemora Grey will also be offered. The 20-inch wheels and intake manifold of the V10 engine are finished in matt bronze. The side blades and the exterior mirror housings are made from gloss carbon fiber. Contrast stitching in gloss copper adorn the gear selector, and steering wheel, which also features a black 12 o'clock marking, centre armrest, door armrest, and door rail.
Copper and matte gray make one hell of a color combination.
The Decennium's cabin is dotted with special logos and plenty of glossy carbon-fiber inlays. Just 222 examples will be built worldwide, making it a very tricky beast to track down. Audi made no announcement about examples coming to the US, but Motor Authority has reached out to Audi to learn how many, if any, will make their way to these shores and how they would be priced. If U.S. prices match European prices, the R8 Decennium would sell for $252,000 here based on current exchange rates.
