Klopp famously ran on the pitch and celebrated with Alisson Becker, and Silva responded by saying Liverpool celebrated their "lucky" victor like it was a World Cup final.

"It is a special game for both, for the city also, for our fans a special match, for their fans also a special match", said Silva.

Silva then went on to say it will be "very good" if they perform like they did in the first Merseyside derby of the season.

"It's a different period of the season but we need to be ourselves. In that match we deserved something more".

The Brazilian forward has lost League Cup, Europa League and Champions League finals since his move to the Anfield outfit.

"We always want to be very, very, very aggressive, but in the best football way", he told a news conference.

"If I can sign now to perform in the same way, I will sign straight [away] because that means we will be really close to winning the match. If we can do more it'll be great".
