- "Freedom" or "socialism" - It was Sanders' first major speech since announcing he will again seek the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020.

Trump invited Hayden Williams to join him Saturday while he addressed activists attending the Conservative Political Action Conference.

Trump derided the Democrats' Green New Deal - a platform to reduce carbon emissions in the United States and convert to 100 percent renewable resources - as a socialist plan that would severely impact the fossil fuel industry. We're going to check his deals. He noted how Congressional Republicans refused to follow-up on Michael Cohen's allegations, how they "shrugged" when Trump defended Kim Jong-un and how 184 House Republicans voted to defend Trump's declaration of national emergency.
