The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office confirmed the identity of the victim as Trinity Love Jones, 9, a resident of Los Angeles County. I just want justice, ' he said. "This was my youngest daughter who I have been reaching out to only to have conflict. why would you not take her to her dad instead of killing her?"
A sketch of Trinity released to help identify her showed her wearing a pink shirt that read, "Future Princess Hero".
"She was just the best", Antonio Jones told the local station.
Two people have been detained in connection with the death of a young girl whose body was found in a duffel bag near a Los Angeles-area trail.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Capt. Kent Wegener, who oversees the homicide bureau, said more detectives are being assigned to assist in the investigation, given the volume of information related to the child's body.

"This has really hit home", she said.
It was unclear why Trinity's family never filed a missing person report.
"Due to the overwhelming response from the news media and tips received from the public, investigators have identified the deceased child discovered on March 5, 2019, along an equestrian trail in the 3400/3500 block of Hacienda Boulevard in unincorporated Hacienda Heights". She enrolled her in home school so she basically was with the mother and boyfriend the whole time...we all reached out, we called dcfs. nobody would listen'.
Pictured is 9-year-old Trinity Jones. Numerous children were victims of abuse or violence in their homes, and most died at the homes of parents or guardians. Upon first examination of the body, there were no obvious signs of trauma, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
No further details regarding the circumstances of the girls death, or the ongoing investigation, were available Sunday.
