Saudi Plane Forced to Return Immediately After Take-Off As Mother Forgets Baby at Airport

The pilot can then be heard repeating to the air traffic operator: "I told you, a passenger has left her baby in the terminal and she is refusing to continue the flight".

In an utterly shocking incident, a Saudi woman boarded the plane forgetting her baby at the airport. "Can we come back or what?" the pilot is heard asking in the video.

A Saudi Arabian Airlines flight had to make a last minute turn-around because a passenger forgot her baby behind at the airport. "Can we come back or what?".

The Saudi Airlines flight had left Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

After noting the flight number - SV832 - the operator asks a colleague what protocol they should follow, if one even exists.

It has been reported that the incident took place on Saturday evening.

He adds: "OK, head back to the gate".

When the Pilot made the unusual request to turn back the plane to the Airport, the ATC operators were surprised to know the situation. "This is totally a new one for us!"

However, the weird incident had a happy ending as the woman passenger was reunited with her baby at the airport.

The woman realised that she had left her baby at the departure while she was waiting for the hall and she realised that only after the flight had taken off from the airport.

The pilot has since been lauded for coming to the rescue of the distraught mother by social media users.

The Independent said no further information was given on how the mother forgot her child in the boarding gate of the airport.
