White House defends Trump, says absurd to call Prez unreliable negotiator

Sarah Sanders spars with CNN’s Jim Acosta over anti-Semitism allegations

WATCH: Jim Acosta Says Democratic Party Not Anti-Semitic. Sarah Sanders Schools Him.

In fact, the lukewarm response by press secretary Sarah Sanders to Newsmax's question about Acosta's status in the president's Cabinet fueled ongoing speculation the secretary of labor was on the way out.

Axios reported that at a Republican National Committee fundraiser over the weekend at Trump's Palm Beach club Mar-a-Lago, the president told donors that "Democrats hate Jewish people".

One such remark reportedly referred to Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar (D) and the controversy surrounding her criticism of the pro-Israel lobby.

Sanders was asked about the president's controversial statement after white supremacists clashed with counter protesters at a rally in Charlottesville, Va., in August 2017 that there were "good people on both sides".

In answering a similar question, Sanders noted that reporters should be asking the Democrats themselves on why they have refused to speak out.

At this meeting, according to what I've heard, Mick Mulvaney, acting White House chief of staff, urged the president to fire Acosta.

"That is obviously false", Alabama Democratic Rep. Terri Sewell said on CNN shortly after Trump spoke.

NASA’s deep space launch system is ‘coming together’
Bridenstine answered "absolutely" to a question from Twitter when asked if a woman would be headed to the moon in the future. Solid rocket boosters for the Space Launch System will be stacked at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral.

When asked for the third time on the matter, Sanders responded again by saying, "You ought to ask the Democrats". "Isn't that kind of rhetoric just sort of beneath everybody?"

"Do you think that the president has thought, at all, going into the 2020 campaign that the rhetoric just needs to be lowered?"

Sanders responded that it's a shame Democrats won't come together and condemn anti-Semitic remarks.

"He'll make a decision on that when he's ready", Sanders said during a press briefing.

The president is committed to an agreement that addresses China's treatment of US intellectual property and has an enforcement mechanism to ensure that Beijing is following through on its end of the bargain, she said.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders takes questions from the media outside the West Wing at the White House on March 6, 2019 in Washington, DC. "The president has been clear on what his position is, certainly what his support is for the people and the community of Israel". When the final resolution passed the House, it did not mention Omar by name. The Democrats have become an anti-Israel party; they've become an anti-Jewish party, and that's too bad.
