Chiefs' Hill under investigation for alleged battery incident

Kansas City Chiefs star receiver Tyreek Hill is involved in an investigation over a battery incident with a juvenile listed as the victim.

According to that video, the first police report is dated March 5 and said child abuse and neglect as the criminal act.

KCTV in Kansas City, Missouri, was among the outlets reporting on a battery investigation involving a child stemming from a call to Hill's home in Overland Park, Kansas, on Thursday. The following statement was issued by the Chiefs' organization in support of the Kansas City Star article.

Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is under a criminal investigation, police say. "We will have no further comment at this time".

Following the incident with Espinal, Hill went to therapy and went to counseling for anger management. It's also worth noting that no arrests have been made as of this moment.

Chiefs Release Eric Berry
Berry was once a pillar of the Kansas City defense alongside Derrick Johnson , Tamba Hali, and Justin Houston . Sadly, his career was halted when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma back in December of 2014.

Hill, 25, has not been charged, according to the Star.

A source told the Star that the incident was against the couple's son, and Hill's fiancee had been in contact with the Overland Park police.

Hill is one of the Chiefs' most prominent players.

This is a very serious allegation especially given Hill's history of domestic violence. That would surpass the contract for Odell Beckham Jr., who became the highest-paid wide receiver in National Football League history when he signed a five-year, $90 million extension with the New York Giants in August 2018. He pleaded guilty to domestic abuse and received three years of probation. Upon completion of his probation requirements, the felony conviction was dismissed in August 2018 and the charge was wiped from his records.

He was taken in the third round by the Chiefs in the 2016 NFL Draft.
